David has over 33 years of experience in M&A and Corporate Strategy in Europe and, principally, Brazil and Latin America. For c. 25 years through 2018 he led KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice in Latin America
His executive and strategy experience also includes leadership of KPMG’s operations as Chairman and CEO in Brazil from 1999 to 2008 and in South America from 2008 to 2015. He also has extensive international board experience
Advice given has covered M&A, fundraising, privatizations and public concessions, strategic advice to boards and distressed situations;
He has advised on more than 60 transactions for a total value exceeding US$ 15bn, many middle market but also a number of large, complex transactions, across a wide range of business segments, including finance, insurance, FMCG, retail, manufacturing, mining and metallurgy, petrochemicals, utilities and transport
David is Fellow (FCA) of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and BA in History, University of Leicester
He is fluent in English (native), Portuguese and Spanish
